Another month gone by, just like that! According to popular wisdom, both November and December are traditionally more expensive months. After seeing some of the insane Black Friday footage from across the big ol’ pond we call the Atlantic Ocean, I’m inclined to agree with that statement. As a result, I’m excited to read everyone’s income and expenses report. Of course, I’ll also share mine.

Are you ready to find out how much I managed to save in October? I sure am! Last month topped all my expectations of how far I could push living frugaly, so it’s unlikely that every month will be as great. Guess what? October turned out to be excellent too.

Another month flew by already – time to look at my budget spreadsheet and see how I’ve done savingswise. As I’ve explained before, I update my Excel file every evening to keep track of everything coming in and going back out. I’ve been doing this since university and it works wonders for me. Now, without any further ado, my income and expenses for July 2014!
